NForce™ Construction Bales Now Available!
Canadian Greenfield Technologies Corp. (CGT) is pleased to announce the launch of another premium fiber product, NForce™ Construction Bales, manufactured from structural bast fiber produced by a HempTrain™ Advanced Processing Plant.
NForce™ Construction Bales are construction-grade, high load-bearing bales for green construction. The high load-bearing capacity is due to the unique, structural properties of bast fiber - produced by HempTrain™ - densely compressed into construction bales by specialty machinery (available as an add-on to a turn-key HempTrain™ facility), designed and built by CGT. NForce™ Construction Bales are intended for the construction of walls that are both load-bearing and insulating, significantly expanding the use of renewable materials in energy-efficient buildings. Other applications – in transportation, water and erosion control projects – can also be foreseen.
An independent expert study, which conducted extensive testing of NForce™ Construction Bales, demonstrated that the load capacity of NForce bales is up to 3.5x higher (ie 250% higher) than conventional straw bales, which are normally suitable as insulation only.
Advances Made Possible by HempTrain™ Technology
The HempTrain™ Advanced Processing Plant is the only hemp processing technology in the world that separates the bast fiber from hurd in a manner that does not damage the fiber strings, keeping the fiber long (~6-30” in length) and structurally intact retaining high tensile strength.
This development further expands CGT’s NForce™ brand of engineered fiber products by adding premium construction-grade bales to the product line, which currently includes the immensely popular (constantly sold out) NForce-Fiber™ and NForce-Pro™- the worlds-only, ASTM / CSA compliant high-performance hemp fiber for concrete construction.
Construction Bale product lines can be manufactured by ANY turn-key HempTrain™ facility with the addition of an affordable CGT Baler. This immediately opens opportunities for the HempTrain™ produced structural bast fiber.
