Patent Received for HempTrain™!
October 1, 2020, CALGARY, Canada – Today, Canadian Greenfield Technologies Corp. (CGT) is proud to report that, following full commercialization of its HempTrain™ Advanced Processing Technology, a multi faceted patent covering a number of major engineering innovations relating to the process and control of HempTrain™ has been granted by the patent office. The innovations, until recently, have been protected as trade secrets. The patent issuance is recognition of the novelty of this technology and a great tribute to CGT's engineering team.
The HempTrain™ Advanced Processing Plant is the only hemp processing technology capable of separating whole-plant hemp feedstock into all high-value components. A HempTrain™ can separate dry hemp feedstock into long, strong bast fiber, clean, size-specified hurd, and a nutrient rich green microfiber. Furthermore, it can process fresh/green hemp feedstock, separating and concentrating a high-CBD fraction for use as an extraction feedstock. Turn-key HempTrain™ installations are available to the open market in Canada and the United States.
CGT’s HempTrain™ technology has been identified as a key technology for the growth of the industrial hemp industry, and has been widely accepted and recognized as the only hemp processing technology capable of facilitating mass production of products for high-value markets.
Recently, CGT has commissioned a new HempTrain™ facility as a part of CGT’s production expansion, to support the market demand for their HempAlta brand and NForce-Fiber™ product lines.
Later this month, CGT will be hosting a virtual tour of it’s HempTrain™ production facility to include an in depth look at the operational process of HempTrain™. Stay tuned for more updates.
