HempTrain™: Further Advancement for CBD Production

CALGARY, Canada, May 5, 2020 - Canadian Greenfield Technologies Corp. (CGT) is proud to announce the commercial release of a significant technological advancement in the processing capabilities of the HempTrain™ Advanced Processing Plant. In further development of the unique ability to process fresh/green feedstock into a high-CBD fraction, the HempTrain™ is now also capable of processing  “wet/high moisture” feedstock (tested on Katani with up to 70% moisture content). This advancement is very significant for CBD production where processing of wet feedstock soon after harvesting is the key for maximum CBD retention and recovery. As was announced earlier, and reflected in our whitepaper, HempTrain™ for CBD: Drastic Capital and Operating Cost Reduction by Processing Fresh/Green Hemp, HempTrain™ can separate a high-CBD fraction from industrial-scale broad acre hemp, thus substantially increasing production efficiency and reducing the cost of CBD mass production.
