Responding to market dynamics, we are pleased to announce that Canadian Greenfield Technologies Corp. (CGT) will offer select toll processing of hemp feedstock using our proprietary HempTrain™ facilities, starting July 1, 2020. CGT is a technology and manufacturing company specializing in hemp-based products and technologies, and the only manufacturer of complete whole hemp plant processing facilities in North America.
We are putting in operation sufficient HempTrain™ capacity to continue, and if required, to expand such services including processing of fresh/green hemp into high and low CBD fractions as well as separating dry hemp into long bast fiber, size-specified hurd and CBD containing green microfiber production. CGT holds an Industrial Hemp License from Health Canada, allowing the processing of hemp including flowering heads, leaves and branches received from other licensed entities. This service will allow hemp producers to bridge the processing gap towards high-value markets. It will also allow HempTrain™ purchasers to start developing their markets immediately while preparing for the installation of their own HempTrain™ units.
About the HempTrain™ Advanced Processing Plant
The HempTrain™ Advanced Processing Plant is the only hemp processing technology capable of separating whole-plant hemp feedstock into all high-value components. A HempTrain™ can separate dry hemp feedstock into long, strong bast fiber, clean, size-specified hurd, and a nutrient-rich microfiber. Furthermore, it can process fresh/green hemp feedstock, separating and concentrating a high-CBD fraction for use as an extraction feedstock.
